Short Biography
Tahir Nisar Rajput is a legal practitioner with 25 years of experience in litigation and legal advisory services. He holds an M.A. in Economics, completed in 1996, and an LL.B. from the University of Sindh, obtained in 1999. He received his license to practice before the Lower Courts in 2002 and the High Court in 2004. His enrollment as an Advocate of the Supreme Court is currently in process.
His practice covers constitutional, civil, criminal, labour, corporate, family, and income tax matters. He has particular expertise in fundamental rights and human rights cases involving police excesses, missing persons, and false accusations against innocent individuals. He also handles matters before Anti-Terrorism Courts, NAB-related cases, narcotics, customs, shipping, and claims for damages.
Mr. Rajput has served as Legal Advisor to Sindh Industrial Trading Estate Ltd. for the past 19 years. Numerous cases in which he has appeared have been reported in PLD, SCMR, CLC, YLR, and other law journals.
